Should I hire a lawyer or should I hire an adjuster (or both) to assess my homeowner’s property damage claim?

For the rare non-contentious case, when your insurer is “cooperating” on the payment of the full value of a claim, a public adjuster can certainly be the right professional for the handling of your claim. Adjusters can be skilled at identifying the cause of a damage, assessing the extent and value of damage, and even negotiating the resolution of the damage. But, they are limited in the tools that they can use to resolve your case at the maximum resolution.

If you’ve suffered a loss, and you have not yet hired an adjuster, the Roller Law Group can have your loss assesed by one of our loss consultant experts, who takes on the role of an adjuster – at no up-front cost to you.

So, as soon as you feel the insurer is stalling, dragging its feet, or acting in “bad faith” – as they often tend to – make sure you insist on the hiring of an attorney. It is probably not your adjuster’s fault, but you are well within your rights to recommend that your adjuster refer you to a lawyer. At the Roller Law Group, we offer free strategy sessions for both clients and adjusters. So give the Roller Law Group a call to discuss today at 888-HI-ROLLER.

What Client Says About Us

My case was recently settled this holiday season with attorney Brian Roller. All I can is wow they are such an amazing and attentive firm. I had the pleasure of having Luz and Margaret as the assistants on the case and they were absolutely efficient. They were always available and answered all my questions in a timely manner. I received a more than great settlement and couldn’t be anymore thankful than to have had them represent me on my auto case. Would definitely use them again and million times after that if needed.
